How I Price My Photography Session Packages. . .

Over the years I've had my session package prices low, and I've had them high. Nowadays, I like to focus more on making sure that my clients get the most value out of the time we spend together, so I don't worry about pricing anymore. Instead my focus has shifted to ensuring that my clients are receive highly desired shots; but in a way that is affordable for them, without putting myself out of business. After all, I love what I do, and I would do it for free because I love it so much, however, doing it for free won't really pay the bills. =0)

I've been working with a local Charlotte Business Improvement Consultant who has helped me to develop the best possible pricing structure for my clients and maintain a successful, profitable business at the same time. Here's what we've come up with together. . .

Methods of Payment Accepted:

I accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, as well as checks and money orders. For accounting purposes, I prefer not to accept cash, however exceptions can be made if you have no other method of payment available to you.

This covers my time in working with you and your family in my "laid-back atmosphere" studio, (or on location in some cases like weddings) as well as 'polishing' up your proofs so that they can be printed. It may not sound like much, but my husband will tell you that I've spent some late nights editing proofs for clients! The session fee is a standard fee, but if you have a large number in your party (for example, more than 5 people), then there is an additional $10 fee person. I am a bit flexible, and if your family is 7 adults for example, that doesn't rate the same as 2 adults with 5 children who might be tired, and irritable. So if in doubt, feel free to contact me to confirm for sure before booking online.
